In 2017 the famous Covent Garden-based restaurant brand The Ivy announced its expansion plans to open two new restaurants in Yorkshire. Both the Harrogate and York Ivy Restaurants are now complete and have opened to the public.

The Ivy Collection is a group of restaurants, brasseries and cafés, established in London and now growing rapidly across the UK, offering all day dining options. The restaurant locations are carefully selected to reflect the architecture and history of each location, appealing to locals and tourist alike. The restaurants both occupy light and airy dining spaces within impressive historical buildings.

 

Project overview

Working alongside Chapman Ventilation, GDL provided standard linear slot diffusers and plenum boxes at both restaurants. We have previously provided the grilles, slots and air valves at the original Ivy Restaurant in Covent Garden for their 2015 major refurbishment. Our range of slot diffusers offer both supply and extract ventilation with a range of accessories and paint finishes to suit any aesthetic requirements.
